There is, what is known as, Quasi Residential and Fully residential alcohol detox centres, and there is a big difference between the two. The fully residential rehab centres are the centres which have 24 hour nursing, all food included etc. The quasi residential are the centres where you are in the centre in the day, and then shipped out to a house in the evening, where you are normally left there with a security guard looking after you until the morning. You then walk a mile in the morning to the centre. Plus you will have to do all your own cooking, and washing in a quasi residential rehab centre, and get a cheese roll and a cup of tea normally for lunch when in the centre.
Be very careful, as quasi residential rehab centres will say they are fully residential, and in some cases they are even more expensive than fully residential.
